E-ZPass® On-the-Go Retail Program Information

Your business or municipal office can use the E-ZPass® name to improve traffic flow, expand customer service and increase revenue. E-ZPass® On-the-Go is a program designed to allow eligible retailers to sell E-ZPass® tags in their stores and offices.

Please note: The E-ZPass On-the-Go program is available to qualified NYS businesses located in counties outside the City of New York and Long Island. The E-ZPass On-the-Go program is not currently offered to retailers located in any counties in the City of New York or Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island.

How to Apply (for businesses located outside the City of New York and Long Island)

  1. Eligible retailers should complete the appropriate application below and submit it to the Thruway Authority. For assistance, e-mail ezpassny@thruway.ny.gov.

  2. Within 4-6 weeks, you should receive a determination stating if you qualify as an eligible retailer for the E-ZPass® On-the-Go Program.

  3. If approved, you will be provided marketing materials and an online account to order and track tag shipments. An invoice will be included with each shipment.
